Traigh Mor Dusk Long Exposure

Traigh Mor Dusk Long Exposure - The Outer Hebrides
February 2010

From the foot of Beinn Dubh looking down the length of Traigh Mhor and onwards to Ceapabhal. As the light faded a long exposure was inevitable however I opted to increase the exposure time via a ND filter in order to emphasise the curve of the shoreline as the waves rolled in. I captured a subtle splash of colour behind Ceapabhal as the sun set and a very moody sky overhead while heavy showers of sleet and strong winds blasted me on the hillside. An exhilarating end to the day!
